1 ~ Random Thoughts Begin

So here goes for my first actual blog...

My day began when I didn't hear the alarm this morning.  I jump out of bed and realize Seth has ten minutes before school starts! I go running into his room and when he rolls out of bed I realize he didn't even take his shorts or shoes off last night!  (Now mind you, I'm not a terrible mother that doesn't tuck her child in, I normally stop and we read his children's Bible, but last night we got home super duper late and both crashed)  So I said Seth it looks like God knew we would be late! And we ran off to school, on time phew.

The next part of my day began.  I spent all of yesterday editing pics and creating wedding invitations, with my random style of course.  So this morning I finished up and ran to Wal Mart to have them printed.  It's funny how helpful them Wal Mart boys are.  I came dressed up so that I could go apply at some more jobs, and I had at least three of them see if they could help me find anything! They are so eager to help and kind, I guess Wal Mart trains em well! So anyhow, invites are printed all 150 of em.  I can't wait to send em out!

So I leave Wal Mart and I'm texting Jake and jamming out to REO Speedwagon and just as I'm singing Take it On the Run baby, my baby says he is by Wal Mart.  I never busted a U so fast in all my life, State Trooper behind me and everything.  Guess I could have blamed it on love, like that would work.  So I ran, aka drove, to meet my future husband and got to sneak in a midday hug and kiss.  I felt like a teenager trying to sneak a kiss in the hallway between classes.

Forcing myself out of his arms, I was off to apply for jobs.  I am crossing my fingers I get something soon! Like, by tomorrow, seeing as I have a Dr appt in Cleburne because I have unblogworthy symptoms that reveal something serious, that are not supposed to happen after hysterectomy.  Ah I need money, and good health like Mel Gibson needs God.  At this point, you better believe I'll take working at Sonic even if I haven't roller bladed in about 10 years!

On another note I am about to start addressing invitations, but first I will address the fact that I miss Jake terribly.  I hope I get to see him tonight, but unfortunately I highly doubt I will.  You see, we have begun this whole do things the right way thing, and he is now staying at his parents until we are officially married.  Do you realize how hard that is when you find the one person that you crave their attention all day long?  The one person that you relax with, and would marry tomorrow if you could?  Lets just say my head knows it is the right thing, but my immaturity tries to convince myself otherwise.  So now I am in this two story house, just me and Seth, and my loneliness has resorted to blogging. ha jk I love blogging.  It's like journaling.

Well I suppose that is it for today, off to my DIY calligraphy aka bubble letter writing on envelopes...

Who I am...Now

Hey everyone, this is Rachel. If you are reading this you may know me really well, or have just met me so let me start by introducing myself.  Currently I am twenty five years old, even though physically I feel like I'm eighty, and mentally I feel like I'm a lot younger.  I am the mother of an over energetic 6 year old little boy named Seth that turns 7 next month.  Come October I marry the man Ive been praying about for a very very long time. His name is Jake, short for Jacob, and yes I think its the coolest thing ever that we are both not only in the Bible, but that we get married. I love my hectic crazy life, and I love my friends and family.  I'm currently crossing my fingers for a job at the Federal Building in downtown Fort Worth with my step mother.  I should know something this week.  In the meantime I applied at some local restaurants, and even Sonic, which they asked me if I could skate. Ha! Can you picture me on skates, a half grown woman! Hey, whatever pays the bills, I told them absolutely! i already know that if I work there until I start at this other job, Jake is so going to make fun of my skills.  Other than my current lack of job status, I am a full time student at good ole WC, where I currently have a 4.0, that's right. I want to graduate with honors, just like my Mom who also went to WC and graduated with honors.  Anyhow, that's the main info about me.  I guess I will wait until tomorrow and then jump right in with this blog! Thank you Kelly and Melissa for giving me a way to express myself, as if I don't enough already ha
